Dear Running Mama,

I'm so glad you wrote this post because I was about to submit a question asking about how to get over beating yourself up for having fallen off the wagon. I do wonder though how working folk find the time to run, work and have family life balance. I have yet to master that one. I figured 2 of the 3 isn't bad, but unfortunately the one that I'm missing is also the one that's making my behind larger.

I like your goals for 2010. I need to think mine over... definitely want to track every mile I run so that I can say "WOW! I did it and I rocked!"

Sincerely,
Me

I like your goals, too. I do that tracking on and off, just like I run on and off, but perhaps I should make those resolutions, too. The new year is definitely a good time. I feel like my race days are over, but I can definitely resolve for next year to be at the finish line at the Chicago Marathon. Maybe I'll have my 3 running offspring to cheer on!!

I like your goals...they cover a lot of ground...near-term, long term and everyday progress. Smart.

I need to think about some of my own. And, no, they will not include training for a marathon. ;-)
