Before moving out to the 'burbs, my husband and I lived just a few blocks from the Heartbreak Hill, the toughest part of the Boston Marathon course. Every year, we would walk over and cheer on the Wheelchair Division, Men & Women. The Hoyts always brought tears to my eyes. They've run their last marathon now, but their inspiration continues.

You will inspire ordinary moms and extraordinary ones like yourself, too. And maybe, just maybe...some of us without kids, too.

I look forward to cheering you on!
